Here's what you can expect from our Advanced Open Water course:
Day 1:
- Classroom session: Introduction to the course and review of diving theory, including buoyancy control, dive planning, and underwater navigation.
- First dive: Deep dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters/100 feet, where you'll learn about pressure and nitrogen narcosis.
- Second dive: Navigation dive to practice underwater navigation techniques.
Day 2:
- Third dive: Peak Performance Buoyancy dive to improve your buoyancy control and reduce air consumption.
- Fourth dive: Underwater Naturalist dive to learn about the local marine ecosystem and identify different species of fish and coral.
Day 3:
- Fifth dive: Wreck dive to explore a sunken shipwreck and learn about wreck diving techniques.
- Sixth dive: Night dive to experience the unique and magical atmosphere of diving at night.

The dive operator will pick you up from your hotel or a nearby location and transport you to the dive center. Upon arrival, you will meet your instructor who will provide you with an introduction to the course and the materials you'll be using.
9:00 AM - Navigation Dive and Deep Dive
You will start with a navigation dive and learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques. This will be followed by a deep dive where you'll go down to a maximum depth of 30 meters.
12:00 PM - Lunch Break
After the morning dives, you'll break for lunch and have some time to relax and recharge.
1:00 PM - Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive
In the afternoon, you'll do a peak performance buoyancy dive where you'll learn how to control your buoyancy and conserve energy while diving.
The dive operator will pick you up from your hotel or a nearby location and transport you to the dive center. You'll start the day with a wreck dive where you'll learn how to plan and execute a dive on a wreck.
11:00 AM - Underwater Naturalist Dive
After the wreck dive, you'll do an underwater naturalist dive where you'll learn about the marine life found in the Red Sea and how to identify different species.
12:00 PM - Lunch Break
After the morning dives, you'll break for lunch and have some time to relax and recharge.
1:00 PM - Night Dive
In the afternoon, you'll do a night dive where you'll learn about the different techniques and equipment used for diving at night.
5:00 PM - Course Completion and Drop-off
After the night dive, you'll return to the dive center where you'll complete the course and receive your Advanced Open Water certification. The dive operator will then transport you back to your hotel or a nearby location.
