Overview
The first step in the diving course open water is to complete the knowledge development portion. This can be done through self-study using materials such as books or online courses, or through classroom sessions with an instructor. The knowledge development covers the fundamentals of scuba diving, including equipment, diving techniques, and safety procedures.

2. Confined Water Dives:
The next step is to complete confined water dives, which are typically done in a swimming pool or shallow water area. This portion of the course provides practical training and allows you to become comfortable with the equipment and basic scuba diving skills. You will learn how to set up your scuba gear, clear water from your mask, control your buoyancy, and other essential skills.
3. diving course open water
After completing the confined water dives, you will move on to the open water dives. This is where you will put your skills to the test and explore the underwater world. You will typically complete four open water dives, each with a different focus, such as navigation, buoyancy control, and rescue techniques. Your instructor will guide you through each dive and provide feedback and guidance to help you improve your skills.
4. Final Exam:
Once you have completed the knowledge development, confined water dives, and open water dives, you will take a final exam to assess your understanding of the material covered in the course. This exam typically consists of multiple-choice questions and can be completed online or in person.
5. Certification:
After passing the final exam, you will receive your diving course open water certification. This certification will allow you to dive up to a depth of 18 meters (60 feet) with a certified dive buddy. You can then choose to continue your diving education with advanced courses or specialty courses to further enhance your skills and knowledge.
Overall, the Open Water course provides a comprehensive introduction to scuba diving and is essential for anyone who wants to explore the underwater world. It is important to choose a reputable and experienced diving center and instructor to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
