Sea Secret Diving Center’s Cancellation and Refund Policy seeks to maintain fairness while addressing changes or unforeseen circumstances in bookings. Here’s a breakdown of our policies:
Cancellation Charges:
- Between 14 and 7 days before check-in: 25% charge
- Less than 7 and 3 days before check-in: 50% charge
- Less than 3 days before check-in: 100% charge
- In case of center-led cancellations due to weather or unforeseen reasons, rescheduling or full refunds will be offered.
Change of Dates:
- Change check-in dates twice within a year of booking at no extra cost.
- Notify us via email or phone at least 3 days before the check-in date.
- No-show without notice incurs full booking charges.
Deposits and Payments:
- A 100% deposit secures spots for diving activities, payable at check-in or before arrival.
- Clear any remaining balances before departing the Dive Center.
- Final payments post-course completion must be settled for certificate processing.
- A 3% surcharge applies for credit card payments in the Dive Center (EUR or USD).
Rules and Regulations:
- Check Dive: Mandatory at the start of the first dive, free, and takes 5 minutes.
- Fit to Dive: Divers must be in good health; specific medical conditions require valid diving certificates.
- Alcohol and Diving: Strict no-tolerance policy for intoxicated divers; no refunds will be issued.
- Equipment Rental: Responsibility lies with the renter; charges for loss or damage.
- Regulator Rental: Fee incurred if dust caps aren’t secured before rinsing, requiring maintenance.
- PADI Courses: Each student needs a personal PADI manual (book).
- OWD/AOWD Refresher: Mandatory for divers with specific logged dives and lapse durations.
- Unguided Dives: Certain dive levels require mandatory guides based on logged dives.
- Diving Insurance: Hyperbaric Dive Insurance available for 9€, valid for 3 weeks in Hurghada.
- Special Trips: Minimum divers required; advance requests necessary for special trips.
